My boys have been sledding and building things in it all day yesterday and today. Yes. The perfect excuse for a no school day. :) I am enjoying the break even more than them I think. ;) Although, from what I hear Bloomfield and Farmington didn't get as much as Aztec. I couldn't even make it up the hill to church on Sunday. People had to park down the road and carpool up the hill in the 4wdrive vehicles. (It was kind of fun). But, it did make me miss my Expedition. You get one or the other, 4w drive, or good gas mileage......hhmmmm.....choices, choices.
I guess you don't want to move to Minnesota. On Sunday it was warm enough to melt the snow, then the temp quickly dropped and everything became ice. On top of that it was snowing and thus, on Monday and Tues it was negative 10 F with a windchill which made it feel like the temp was actually negative 35 F. Sorry if I don't feel sympathy for you. :)
Charlotte, NC is definitely looking good right now. We hit 70 this week! Granted, it doesn't exactly yield a white Christmas, but short-sleeves in December is pretty good, too. =)
